[Matriarchy] Holding Up a Star

Setting: A modern matriarchal romance. The heroine is a cold, domineering CEO with a weak stomach. She has a beloved first love, but the hero will eventually take his place. At first, the heroine believes in neither gods nor ghosts. Later, she takes up cultivation and keeps a ghost (the hero). That's right up my alley! The hero is a little ghost who has been asleep for a long time and is protected by the Buddhist faith. Later, he runs off with the heroine and loses that protection. In the ghost world, he's a total pushover. The hero is innocent and guileless, with the heart of a foodie and endless curiosity about modern life. Official synopsis The devoted CEO often accompanies her grandmother to pray and burn incense at the temple. One day, a child's cat is frightened by a little sparrow and scrambles up a tree. Her grandmother tells the CEO to rescue the cat and earn some good karma. While rescuing it, the CEO accidentally gets scratched by a thorn. A little ghost lives inside the bodhi tree, watching the commotion from within. Then, by chance, a drop of the CEO's blood lands on his forehead. The CEO is startled by the ghost who suddenly appears. The little ghost has just woken from a long sleep and is curious about everything. When he realizes the CEO can see him, he follows her home in a daze. After that, the little ghost eyes all the delicacies the CEO usually has no appetite for. His foodie heart gets the better of him, and he possesses the CEO, gorging himself on everything. Butler: This is wonderful! The young lady finally has an appetite! That would be fine, except when the little ghost reaches for junk food, the CEO finally loses her temper... One-line summary: The daily battle of wits between a cold CEO and a foodie little ghost.
