This collection of German heroic epics was translated by the translator Mr. Cao Naiyun based on the Hohen Eames-Russberg edition. The first nineteen chapters tell the grand scenes and wonderful stories of the brave Prince Siegfried of the Netherlands proposing to Princess Kriemhilt of the Kingdom of Burgunten, and helping King Günter of the Kingdom of Burgunten marry Queen Brünhilt of Iceland. It also includes the discord and disputes, conspiracies and massacres of the royal family. Chapters 20 to 38 tell the story of Kriemhildt's second marriage and the battle of revenge planned and carried out without forgetting old grudges. Most of the content in this book is derived from many materials and allusions in European history. It is majestic and all-encompassing. The narrative is meticulous and the plot echoes back and forth. It is soul-stirring and unforgettable.

There are indeed a few people. I feel that in most heroic epics in the West, the heroes will die from trivial things. In the final analysis, it is all due to the vagaries of fate.
The hero of the story, Siegfried, is brave and fearless, and his actions are admirable. The author cleverly incorporates historical materials and allusions into it, and the plot is full of ups and downs, making it really soul-stirring to read!
