This is a good book, I like it. The narrative is bland and there are no surprising plots, which is good. The protagonist is very sad. Plain and simple!!!

This is the best book I have read in the past ten years. Unfortunately, I am not very knowledgeable and have no perfect sentences to comment on this book.

The writing is really good, there is no pile of gorgeous words, and the true human feelings without exaggeration are touching. Aunt Li's family, Shaoqing, Shilang, Xiaofeng, Zhang Ziyao, Yuanzhen... Because of the Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains Water Cup in the Palace Museum, I became interested in this painting and began to understand Wang Ximeng and the Song Dynasty. Although I have studied history for many years, I did not learn it well at the time and have forgotten it now. ... Thank you to the author for giving another ending to Wang Ximeng who disappeared from history. I really hope to have the opportunity to see this painting with my own eyes.

Definitely worth a look. The images of Zhao Ji and Wang Ximeng are real and delicate, and the characterization is very full. Although the last two chapters are a bit rushed, it is a good book that I have not read in many years. It is much better than those cool and refreshing novels. The charm of words is so great, but I still hope that one day, someone can put this story on the screen and let more people know the story behind this amazing painting.

I don't know if it's a true historical story, but it was so good-looking, it made me cry in the end! I didn't want to do anything for four days and read it all in one sitting.
