Dalin and Xiaolin are brothers. After their parents died, the two brothers left home. Unexpectedly, they encountered a man-eating monster on the road, which scared them and ran away separately. Xiao Lin was picked up by the gentleman dog Pippi, who sold Xiao Lin to Sisi Ge at the store's auction. I read this book more than fifty years ago. When I was in my teens, I was attracted by the strange and weird stories. I only read them for fun and did not understand the connotation of this fairy tale. Later, when I read it again when I was over fifty, I deeply understood the profound meaning of Zhang Tianyi's story.
