First Graders Love Science: Mice Eat Cats

"Mouse Eats Cat": There was a little tabby cat who was lazy and timid. When I eat, my mother feeds me, and when I sleep, my mother stays with me. One day, the mother cat was going out, and she was worried that the kitten would not be able to do anything at home, so she hung a big fish around the kitten's neck, and the kitten ate it as soon as she lowered her head. The cat's mother left. The little cat ate fish for the first two days. On the third day, she lowered her head and couldn't reach the fish. She was too lazy to move, her hungry belly growled, and she had no strength at all. The big mouse and the little mouse passed by and saw the little cat meowing for mother. Knowing that she was a timid little cat, they ate the fish on the neck of the little cat and almost bit off the cat's nose. Fortunately, the father-goat came and drove away the mice and saved the little cat.
