This book was interesting and gave me a new perspective on politics and power. Machiavelli's view is unique. He believes that a monarch needs to have the characteristics of a lion and a fox at the same time. He must have both majesty and wisdom. This also has some inspiration for me in educating my children, so that they can learn to respond flexibly to different situations. However, some of the views in the book are indeed quite controversial and need to be considered in light of the actual situation. In short, "The Prince" is a book worth reading and will give you a lot to think about.
