My Ex-Girlfriend Became My Boss

Han Siyan’s club is on the verge of bankruptcy, so he has no choice but to sell it. Only on the day he signs the contract does he learn that the buyer is his ex-girlfriend?!!

The two end up at the same club, where they’re constantly at each other’s throats. Lu Jianing puts him in his place with her authority. As they spend more time together, Han Siyan realizes how much she gives up and sacrifices. Seeing what happens to the players reminds Lu Jianing of the helplessness Han Siyan faced as a pro, and she finally lets go of her resentment.

Lu: Han Siyan, get me a glass of water.

Han (looking utterly bewildered): Me?

Lu (as if it’s obvious): Who else? You’re doing nothing. Are you just here to freeload?

Han (swallowing his anger, goes to get the water)
