Control: Starting with a Goddess Kneeling in Public

After ten years of being a goddess's pathetic simp, I awaken a control System on the eve of my confession!

Only, this System is a little twisted.

“Ding! Host, complete your first mission: make the goddess kneel and kowtow in public, or be erased immediately!”

Li Qixi: “Do you know how long I've been devoted to her? Do you know how much I love her? Even if you erase me, I won't let the goddess lose face!”

“Ding! Your goddess has slept with over a hundred men!”

Li Qixi: “Just over a hundred? I can still take it!”

“Ding! She was the one who deleted Genshin Impact from your phone.”

Li Qixi flew into a rage. That night, he arranged candles in a heart shape on the school track.

The whole school heard that night that this lovesick fool was going to confess, and everyone came to watch.

That night, Wang Xue arrived at the track, ready to accept this sucker who would take her as she was.

“Thud! Thud! Thud!”

Suddenly, Wang Xue fell to her knees and kowtowed three times to Li Qixi.

Later...

Myths began to revive in the city.

Sadako, spirit mediums, werewolves, and vampires roamed the city's shadows.

Seraphim, Yamata no Orochi, Nuwa, Qiongqi, and Godzilla appeared in the skies above the world.

The painted-skin demon that escaped from Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio slipped into the mortal world.

Was that skinny monkey on the utility pole the Six-Eared Macaque from Journey to the West?

Li Qixi helplessly protested, “I'm really just an ordinary person!

I'm not a divine heir who summons gods, much less an Awakened who controls the elements!

What? You found Zeus's corpse in my rented apartment?

No, no, I swear I didn't do it!”
