This book is a masterpiece of sociology by Mr. Fei Xiaotong. It is compiled based on the lecture notes on "Rural Sociology" that he taught at Southwest Associated University and Yunnan University in the late 1940s, and contains 14 articles. This is the author's work that explores China's social structure from a macro perspective based on community research. It analyzes and dissects the structure and nature of China's rural society from various aspects such as rural communities, family systems, moral concepts, power structures, and social norms. It is a relatively mature work on Chinese social research. There is an "Introduction" at the front of the book and a "Knowledge Link" at the back to provide young people with necessary reading guidance and accumulation of knowledge.
