Synopsis

[No romance, original character details, possible out-of-character portrayals, saving characters whose fates are hard to accept]

Wen Ruxing was born 2,300 years after Liyue entered the age of human rule.

Since childhood, he’d believed his family was so poor they could barely afford to eat. Otherwise, why did all his classmates live in apartment buildings with elevators while he shared a little courtyard with his adoptive father, Zhongli, and his senior, Xia Qu?

It wasn’t until high school that he learned his family was actually wealthy. Even their little courtyard was worth as much as a small trade association.

He made it safely through college. Then, after a dinner gathering organized by Mr. Zhongli, Wen Ruxing discovered that the world had changed dramatically.

He, Wen Ruxing, could travel through time!

He arrived in Liyue 2,300 years in the past, in an age when gods ruled...

But why did Zhongli, the consultant at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, look exactly like his adoptive father, Mr. Zhongli?

Why was his senior, Xia Qu, still a half-dragon, half-human with dragon horns and a tail wreathed in auspicious clouds?

Why was that taciturn young man, who occasionally checked in on Mr. Zhongli, the legendary Conqueror of Demons?

Why was the man who gave him homework during the Lantern Rite none other than Azhdaha, the Dragon King who shares the earth’s lifespan?

“Things have changed too much. I guess I’m just not on their level.” Faced with friends who all had extraordinary identities, Wen Ruxing was utterly disheartened.

Why are there so many people in this world who love putting on an act

[Reader advisory] The whole cast is written in a platonic, everyday-life style. This is an amateur author’s enthusiastic work. You can criticize me; I’m sensitive, but please don’t criticize my protagonist, because he’s sensitive too.

Looking for a Genshin Impact Fix-It Story with Sensible Characterization, Plot, and Values

I just saw a Zhongli fanfic where he used the power of the Adeptus Creator to crush the people of Liyue. It was so gross my eyes are practically ruined. Please recommend a normal fic to cleanse my eyes!

Guys, You Know What I Mean. Aside from a Few Good Ones, Genshin Impact Fics Are Just...

There is really nothing else. I genuinely cannot find anything. Please recommend something with good writing, a protagonist who is not too stupid, and original characters. No romance is fine too.
