Because You Were Kindhearted

The experimental-classroom at the affiliated middle school was thick with tension and hostility. A once-in-a-century showdown was inevitable. The students stood in a circle, silently watching. Not one of them dared to step in and break up the fight.

This battle was about personal dignity and status. The winner would become the school's undisputed top dog, holding the highest position among the students, second only to the teachers. Naturally, an event that would shape the school's future drew everyone's attention.

Hua Mingfan casually flicked his fringe with a cocky air and said coolly, “Fists don't care whether you're a boy or a girl. Don't blame me when you're bawling after I beat you up.”

“Then fight! Why do you have so much to say?” Zhao Lingnan glared at him, her words practically spitting fire.

“Fine.” Hua Mingfan couldn't be bothered to keep talking. He beckoned her over.

A few seconds later, Hua Mingfan was sprawled on the ground, his forehead bruised purple and blue, with Zhao Lingnan's foot planted on his chest.

In the years that followed, students at the affiliated school recorded this battle in their history books. The former top dog, Hua Mingfan, had been defeated by his girlfriend. He fell from his pedestal and retired from the scene for good.

And that's how the story goes. Of course, this is only the beginning.
