This book collects many of Bing Xin's excellent works. Some of them fondly recall her happy and sad childhood, the days when she and her father were riding horses to watch the sea, the reunion Spring Festival, and many past events; some praise the beloved people in the new society; some explore good learning methods and encourage children to read more and read good books; some tell big truths through small things. Reading Bing Xin's works, I am moved all the time.

This book is like a small orange lamp, emitting a warm light. The story of the shepherd and the lamb described in the book reminded me of my own relatives and friends. They were like the shepherds in the book, giving me care and help when I was in trouble. "Love never grows old, it retains an eternal flame and eternal brilliance." This sentence is so resonant! Bing Xin's writing is always so beautiful and endlessly memorable.
