Lin Ke fell in love with Xu Yi at first sight and spent a year wearing him down with her persistence. But Xu Yi said it was all just a game of romance he was playing with her.
After an accident sends Lin Ke back to her freshman year, her attitude toward Xu Yi does a complete 180. She no longer fusses over him or greets him with a smile. Instead, she gets him so worked up every day that he can barely speak, then turns around and smiles warmly at everyone else.
Xu Yi panics. “Didn’t you say you fell for me at first sight and loved me even more the second time?”
Lin Ke folds her arms and gives him a glance. “Sorry, my eyes were acting up back then.”
Xu Yi completely loses it. He pins Lin Ke against the wall and holds her there. “You said you’d always like me!”
Lin Ke’s tone is teasing. “I was just saying it. You actually took me seriously?”
Xu Yi glares, lowers his head, and silences that incessantly chattering mouth with a kiss. “I did take you seriously!”
