The Heroine Has a Younger Sister Who’s a Burden

Yu Fei, a struggling web novel author who writes on the side, worked herself to the bone for three days and unexpectedly dropped dead.

When she opened her eyes again, she found herself inside her own novel, as the vicious female antagonist everyone loved to hate: a poisonous-hearted woman with a hideous face.

She'd barely arrived before she was tossed into a pill furnace as an ingredient. Then she nearly got swallowed whole by a flood dragon!

In the novel she wrote, the original character was fourteen at the start, but Yu Fei is only twelve now.

What should she do? She was scared, so she decided to give up and take things as they came.

The heroine, Yu Wan, is a cool and aloof fairy in the eyes of the world, a celebrated prodigy of one of the four great sects. Yet she has a younger sister with a vicious heart.

Everyone knows that Qingyun Daoist Sect has two young women. Yu Wan is the sect's senior disciple, blessed with extraordinary talent and soaring ever higher on the path of cultivation. The other, Yu Fei, is the sect's disgrace. Though she possesses a rare mutated fire spirit root, she never applies herself to cultivation and spends her days plotting and scheming.

A certain insider: “I hear Yu Fei isn't much good at anything, but she sure has a temper. She does whatever she likes, knowing her sister will always have her back. For all her talent, she's the weakest person in the entire sect.”

Another insider: “Not just weak. I hear she even eats live poultry raw to stay alive.”

A third insider: “You're all behind the times. I've got some inside information. Apparently Yu Fei's heart became twisted because she's unbelievably ugly.”

“It's a shame Fairy Yu Wan has to be dragged down by someone like her!”
