There are many Foundations for Arcanists around the world. Lawrence leads all the Foundations in Washington, and even across the United States. The Washington Foundation is the most hardline government of the Arcanists.
A friendly reminder: this book is a fan-written prequel to the main story of Reverse: 1999, based on the author's own imagination. If it contradicts the canon, it doesn't really matter. This is just my interpretation of the Storm. You can also treat it as an original story, since it borrows nothing from the original in terms of character designs, names, worldbuilding, power systems, or main plot. Aside from a character named Mistletoe and Arcana (whose designs are not borrowed), there's nothing here related to the main story.
[In the midst of this conflict, both sides should be given some time. After all, the Arcanists and humans are both children I watched grow up.]
[Reverse: 1999: Before the Storm]
In short, this is a lighthearted, happy, sunny story.
Overall, this book is quite interesting. The author wanted to create a world before the rainstorm, but also connected many main characters. However, compressing too many things into one year may have too much information. It is best to lay out the story of Arcana, Mistletoe and the protagonist first, but I still like the author's quality of not copying the original text.
The first book is not very mature, just read it for fun. This book just wants to write about the fight in the occult world before the rainstorm.
What I am a little confused about is whether you can talk about the world view in detail, but the writing style and concept are both good.
