The top, Ling Yun Ivy, is of Slavic and Chinese descent. He was later adopted from an orphanage by a married couple, and grew up in a loving, happy home. He seems cool and cocky, but is actually awkward and cries easily.
The bottom, Xu Yuanshu, comes from a broken family and has a submissive, people-pleasing personality. He swallows his pain and secretly cries to himself.
In short, it’s a story about a cool, cocky crybaby meeting a meek crybaby.
A slice-of-life story, told through flashbacks, with a somewhat literary feel.
