Jun Xiyu, the young lady of the Jun family, refuses to accept the marriage arranged for her by her family. Unwilling to bow to fate, she fights back with all her might and decides to leave the capital, Tianjing. Along the way, she is rescued several times by Xie Anzhi, commander of the Imperial City Office, and their fates become entwined.
