Perhaps the Moon Should Rest on the Mountain

In ancient times, Lingyuan sacrificed himself for the Dao and destroyed the Canghun at Diancang Mountain, ushering in a glorious age. Today, the Eight Great Sects stand across the land: Diancang, Wangyue, Suihua, Yuhua, Chaosheng, Huayang, Luoxia, and Sanqing. Each holds sway in one direction, and all things originate in this world.

With the Cangyun Assembly approaching, the Suihua Sect is inexplicably destroyed. While observing the stars, the remaining seven sects discover that the Day Star has dimmed and the four symbols of the Li Palace shine with unusual brilliance. They resolve to choose four people who can save the world, grant them the spiritual treasures of the seven sects, and put them through countless trials until they are ready to shoulder this great responsibility.

Eight disciples are brought together by Cangyun to face a common enemy. Their paths are all laid out by fate: those who follow it fulfill Heaven's will, while those who defy it are rejected by Heaven. Follow their journey and see what choices they make.

He said, "Though her beauty remains, my heart is unchanged."

She said, "As graceful as the moon, she fills my heart with joy."
