Is the Grand Preceptor a Cat?

(Fantasy + historical romance + pseudo-rebirth + pseudo teacher-student romance) [Hot-tempered general's daughter]× [Cool, compassionate Imperial Preceptor] (So far, everything I've written takes place before the heroine is reborn.)

Lu Shengsheng was unruly from childhood, and no one in the household could handle her. One letter from her father sent her to the Imperial Preceptor's residence as his disciple. She had planned to learn magic and join the Imperial Preceptor in exorcising demons, but the court was treacherous, her loved ones were murdered, her family was framed, and she herself ultimately died on the battlefield.

Fortunately, Heaven had mercy on her and let her be reborn thirty years later. She had planned to uncover the truth, but why had the cool and aloof Imperial Preceptor she remembered turned into such a scheming old man?

“Shengsheng, if you truly hate me, then kill me…” Song Zhijin's eyes were red and misty with tears.

“…You shameless thing!” Lu Shengsheng looked at the “cat” curled in her arms, purring away, and couldn't find it in herself to hate him!

A tearful cuddle session that hits just right!
