At first, the salted fish turns his life around out of a sense of duty: he's got to support his wife.

Later, he does it for love: he's got to take good care of his wife.

With the throne now just within the salted fish's reach, he cries, "Run!"

Chu Jiashu, the salted fish's keeper, only wants to ask: "When is the village handing out gold bars?"
