My First Day on the Job in the Underworld, and I Dragged a Monkey Down

Tang An was an ordinary middle-aged office worker. After getting fired and dumped by his girlfriend, he impulsively jumped off a building.

Somehow, the leap turned him into a soul-reaping underworld constable. Ready to start over, Tang An was full of ambition. He was determined to work hard and never let his superiors look down on him again.

Who could have guessed he’d overdone it so badly that on his very first day as a constable, he reaped a monkey…

Monkey: “Which one of you is King Yama? You’re all afraid of dying, huh? None of you dare admit it, huh? I want an explanation today!”

Tang An, the culprit, was shoved forward. But instead of dying, he got a mysterious System. As long as he reaped souls, he could grow stronger!

Tang An: “Fine, fine, so that’s how you want to play it? Then don’t blame me for working you all into the ground!”

Tang An: “And you cultivators, all of you are going to the underworld to be reincarnated!”
