Forced to Be a Favored Concubine, She Vows to Escape After Being Reborn

[Reborn + forced marriage and taking by force across two lifetimes + devoted couple]

In her previous life, Song Ruo Ruo only wanted to wait for the man she loved to pass the imperial examinations and then live a quiet, ordinary life. She never expected a young general to take a fancy to her and abduct her by force. She became a despised, lowly concubine in the capital and died of grief.

Reborn, she wanted nothing to do with the young general and hoped never to cross paths with him again.

She had hoped to return to the life she'd once planned, but her fiancé caught the eye of a powerful family, and her future father-in-law fell gravely ill. She was no match for them and was forced to bow her head to the young general once more...

The two made a pact to wait three years, but before even one year had passed, the young general broke his promise and insisted on taking her as his concubine...

[The ending is undecided: HE or BE? Who the heroine ends up with will depend on how the story unfolds and what readers prefer.]

P.S. The male lead is not a good person, and the heroine isn't very clever [she's rather foolish early on]. The male lead is not a good person and takes her by force. The story features a weak heroine and a powerful hero, with a twisted moral compass. Read with caution, and don't imitate the male lead's behavior.
