Extending Good Lives and Slaying Evil Souls: I Study Soul Cleansing in the City!

Life and death are fated; this is the law of Heaven and Earth.

May every soul in the world be worthy of the word “pure”!

I am the Soul Cleaner, a divine being in the city!

Drawing upon the spirits of Heaven and Earth, I carry out their will.

I shoulder the duty of cleansing souls, slaying evil spirits and extending the lives of the good.

If I meet a ghost, I kill it; if I meet a god, I slay it!

Cultivate the soul, and the body will be upright; virtue will then be genuine!
