Gu Changge had the rare day off at home. She took some expensive, unfamiliar snacks out of the freezer, loading up a little cart with them, then wheeled it right over to the sofa.
The sofa was so soft that as soon as Gu Changge lay down, her whole body sank into it.
"Gu Yuanyuan!" Gu Changge shouted at the country dog, who was sleeping soundly on the floor nearby.
Gu Yuanyuan was a stray dog she'd picked up. Two years after bringing her home, thanks to Gu Changge's persistent efforts to communicate, the dog successfully learned a new foreign language, commonly known as dog language.
