The Day I Was Born, I Caused the Deaths of 18 People

The day I was born, eighteen people in the village died one after another.

The butcher, the bamboo worker, the widow, the bricklayer, the cowherd... Every death was bizarre.

Some were strung up at the top of a big tree, swaying back and forth in the wind.

Some fell into a well, their bellies full of toads.

Some looked as if they had been bitten to death, their bodies covered in bite marks.
