<Sci-fi + future + mystery + multiple perspectives + no System + no wish fulfillment + not a power fantasy>
“Everything in this world goes from order to disorder. This is heat death, the hypothesis of the universe’s ultimate fate.” A harsh metallic voice rang out from within the warped space.
“So chaos is inevitable? The fate of the universe is too vast a matter. Can we control our own fate?” A man sat before the warped space, asking the question.
“Fate is never in our own hands. The moment those four intelligent beings set foot aboard the deep-space vessel, they lost their past.”
“I’m not asking about the past. Just tell me, do they have a future?”
“The future? No one can see it clearly. All I know is that the moment they are possessed by the Blackwater, they become the future. Your task is to stop them from boarding the vessel.”
“Me? If the future is already set, what can I change?”
“Everything depends on your choice. Go.”
The warped space gradually shrank, then vanished inside the cramped laboratory.
It feels like there are a lot of threads buried, the characters appear okay, it's readable, and the storyline is very good. It attracted me. I'll check out the follow-up updates.
The plot has twists and turns 👍
Too many are memories and few are personal to the protagonist! Not bad, write more about c1001! Don't write too many memories!
