Two male leads + dominant gong + alternate-apocalypse farming story + a mountain of author-invented details
A composed, self-possessed gong who seems calm but is gentle and doting only toward his shou x a seemingly aloof shou who keeps everyone at arm's length but is clingy and adorable only with his gong.
"Where exactly are you from? What if one day I can never find you again, and even forget that you existed?!" Bai Shu asked tentatively, looking at his adorable little partner.
"That won't happen! Don't worry, we'll always be together!" replied the mysterious spirit of the secret realm without hesitation, licking his sweet malt candy.
And indeed, he later traveled through countless years alongside his beloved treasure. No matter which world they transmigrated to, they were never separated.
The apocalypse struck suddenly overnight, leaving the village where Bai Shu had grown up facing a collapse of its water and power supplies. With supplies running dangerously low, everyone firmly set out in search of a new home, embarking on a life as wanderers in the hope of survival.
After several more disappointments, they continued onward with hope in their hearts. Along the way, they made good friends and punished the wicked, before finally finding the utopian secret realm everyone had dreamed of.
1. An apocalypse based on the popular conception, with lots of author-invented details introduced gradually as the story unfolds.
2. A slow-paced farming-life story, with the author occasionally getting carried away with the details.
3. Early on, side characters appear more often to support the plot and keep things plausible. Later, the focus shifts to farming and romance, while everyone else becomes background. The shou has extensive interactions and a major presence.
4. An entirely fictional setting! The world, geography, and resources are all made up. Please don't compare them to reality!
It's a nice sweet short article, it's a very ideal world and family.
Very cute apocalyptic novel, Ideal City
