When the prince's childhood sweetheart hears the news, she plans to take him along and catch Cheng Qian in the act, then have her thrown in jail. But Cheng Qian turns the tables on her right in front of the prince, scares her half to death, and easily makes off with a whole chest of her treasures. She can enjoy the power of being the prince's consort while it lasts. If she doesn't get even, how could she do right by the original owner, who gave her a second life? It was well written, but the ending was a bit disappointing.
Plot reversal, more attractive
