The Great Sage Reborn: Cultivating in the City and Slaying the Gods

The Great Sage Equal to Heaven dreams his way back to a modern city. In a daze, he vaguely remembers his former glory: treading on auspicious clouds, wearing the golden headband, and sweeping through the Lingxiao Palace with a single staff strike. But when he opens his eyes again, this peaceful world has changed beyond recognition.

Gods run rampant through the human world like demons. The mortal realm is a living hell, demons keep humans penned up, forbidden zones are everywhere, and ordinary people are treated like livestock, stripped of all dignity.

The Western gods think our East has no gods. They serve as the vanguard of the alien demons, enslaving, oppressing, and invading the territory of Great Xia, swaggering as if none can stand against them.

His past life feels like a dream, and his old friends and elders have vanished without a trace. Watch as I, Wu Kong, reshape this darkened sky: with an iron staff, I’ll smash the filth, slay demons anew, and rebuild the Heavenly Court!

From this day on, a myth will be written anew!

It all begins at the Bai Ze Academy in Linhai City, where his name will once again be sung throughout the human world.

Who says Great Xia has no gods?

If the gods have no way, then I’ll be the one to overturn the heavens!

Fist against Izanami, foot on the God King Odin, an iron staff crashing into the divine realm of Asgard. With the divine power to match heaven and earth, I’ll shatter the Land of the Yellow Springs and rival the gods in a mortal body!

Now that I have returned, my name shall resound between heaven and earth!

The fame of the Victorious Fighting Buddha will once again make the gods and the world tremble!
