The Third Book by Not Quite the Moon

[Gentle, considerate Air Force Admiral × timid, insecure sub-female]

[Dual male leads, unconventional insectoid setting + shameless personal worldbuilding + love at first sight + one-on-one romance]

Wan Wu is the Air Force Admiral of Orbit Island 3147, a brilliant strategist and the planetary guardian in the hearts of the insect people.

But during a mission, Wan Wu suffers damage to his heart meridians. The Insect Emperor orders him to rest for a while and settle his marriage arrangements.

To avoid having the Male Insect Association's System automatically assign him a match when he turns 26, Wan Wu decides to get ahead of it and pick someone he likes from the Female Insect Center.

But isn't this sub-female a little too perfect for him? She's just a bit too soft-tempered. Maybe he should pick someone else...

Hey, hey, don't cry. I was joking.

Wan Wu gathered the little female insect, Chen Mi, into his arms and coaxed her with an apologetic smile, finally patching up the mess he'd made.

When the insect nestled in his arms sniffled, “I won't stop you from marrying other insects, but please don't abandon me.”

“You!” Even Wan Wu, normally so mild-tempered, was getting a little angry. But when he saw Chen Mi's tears about to fall again, he couldn't help softening.

He lowered his head and kissed his female lord's eyes, soothing her softly. “Don't worry. You'll be the only one.”
