One Piece: Dawn

What drives people to rush toward the sea, one after another? Dreams? Ambition? Wealth? Or the Great Treasure? No. Trafalgar was driven from his home by the greed of those in power. Hody was driven mad by racial hatred. Poverty and despair drove commoners to raise their blades against the Marines. What can change this world? Supreme authority? Carefully crafted ideals? Military might that can subdue the seas? Or the truth of history from eight hundred years ago? No. The force destined to change this world is the struggle and hope of every ordinary person fighting to survive. Does the Great Treasure truly exist? To become Pirate King, must you reach Laugh Tale? Do the ancient weapons represent supreme power? Ileusri Profic, a transmigrator from another world, tells this world: even without a “D” in their name, even if they are not the one who has been awaited, even if they were not born with the air of a king, anyone has an equal chance to change the world.
