Humanity created micro-intelligences and chip planets in the name of progress.
In order to reduce the damage caused by chemical wastewater more quickly, unscrupulous countries dumped it into the ocean, treating humanity's seas as their sewer. This caused marine microorganisms to mutate, threatening human survival.
In the war against marine microorganisms no bigger than human cells, humanity suffered defeat after defeat and had nowhere left to retreat. At this point, people had two choices: unleash the micro-intelligences to fight back or leave their fate to chance.
The marine microorganisms were terrifying biological weapons, but their intelligence was no greater than that of a six-year-old human infant. They could not wipe out all of humanity in a short time. But if they were not stopped, human resources would be severely restricted, safe zones would shrink dramatically, and once the microorganisms had multiplied in vast numbers, the world would face extinction.
There was still a long window of time before that happened. But if micro-intelligences with human-level intelligence were released to hold the mutated marine microorganisms in check, it was obvious that the latter would soon destroy the former. Could the micro-intelligences be recalled after they were destroyed? What would they choose after discovering their human creators? How could humanity use them to achieve immortality?
What exactly is on Planet One? What about Planet Two? Planet Three? When the people of Green Planet encounter planets as powerful as their own, or even stronger or weaker, how will they respond?
Why have aliens capable of traversing the universe chosen to wait for us to find them?
How are they different from the people of Green Planet? Are they the creators of humanity on Green Planet?
