Synopsis

A thousand-year-old tabby cat from China winds up in Japan after an accident. There, it meets a little boy named Tezuka Kunimitsu and settles into life at his home, where it also gets to know a group of kids who play tennis.

Content warnings: Ryuzaki Sumire retires due to injury, and most of the story focuses on Seigaku. Ryuzaki Sakuno appears only a handful of times, so her fans should skip this one.

Tezuka serves as both coach and captain of the tennis club.

Neither Tezuka nor Yukimura is injured. This story is all about making up for regrets, and the teams from Seigaku, Rikkai Dai, and Hyotei get along well.

No romance.

Most importantly: I’m writing this for fun, so please don’t be a killjoy.

The story only goes as far as the Tokyo Metropolitan Tournament...

Prince of Tennis Stories, Recommend Them All and I’ll Pick for Myself

I'm a huge Rikkai fan, so I'd love the best stories about Rikkai. Of course, other schools are fine too; I'm basically a fan of the whole cast.
