My Days in Showbiz

My name is Luo Yi, and I'm from Ninghai City. In 2004 by the Blue Star calendar, I barely made it into the directing program at Yanjing Film Academy with a score of 491.

My family is simple: my father, my mother, and a younger sister still in school. So my parents wouldn't have to worry about my tuition and living expenses, I started taking all kinds of jobs while I was at school: shooting commercials, music videos, and short films. Before long, I'd become a familiar face around campus, always on the go. I had been lingering at the edges of the entertainment industry until one unexpected opportunity sent me viral overnight. And so, I began my career as a director.
