The Final Salvation

The rocket launched by the United States led scientists around the world to discover the "double bands." Earth was living inside a circle, and as the circle shrank, the life within it descended into "civil war." When the "civil war" ended, the true masters of fate and administrators appeared. Many planets were destroyed in this "civil war," Earth among them. All of this was because a more advanced civilization in the universe was watching over less advanced ones. To a superior civilization, an inferior one was merely an experimental subject, to be discarded when no longer useful. The civilizations trapped within the circle fought desperately for survival, but in the end, it was all in vain.
