Xue Li Zhengdong is the sequel to Thunder of the Tang Dynasty and the prequel to Xue Family General. This book is a supplement to Shan Tianfang's Sui and Tang Romance series, planned by Xu Shengyu, adapted by Lu Ershao, and narrated by Yao Chuanzheng. During the reign of Emperor Zhenguan of the Tang Dynasty, Li Shimin, King Gao Jianzhuang of the Eastern Liao Kingdom rebelled, and the war table reached Chang'an City. Li Shimin was furious and raised a large number of soldiers to lead the expedition. He first sent Zhang Shigui, the chief minister of the Ministry of War, to Longmen County, Jiangzhou, Shanxi to recruit troops. This led to a period of Xue Rengui. Xue Rengui surrendered to the army three times, but Zhang Shigui sent Xue Rengui Hidden in the army, Xue Rengui went out with the army, which led to a series of wonderful plots. Xue Rengui flew up to the East Coast on horseback, whipped Dai Lipeng, captured the Black Wind Pass in the first battle, crossed the Jinsha River, captured the Phoenix City on horseback, fought fiercely at the Golden Rooster City, visited Lingyun Grottoes three times, won and lost in five formations, and other exciting and lively memories are all told in this book.
