Luo Jin's perspective:
At the start of his eighteenth year, a fascinating girl, Su Xingjie, suddenly appeared in his life, which was as rotten as a quagmire. She looked like a well-behaved girl, but the things she did intrigued him. He thought he would spend his life like a walking corpse, never imagining he would follow in her footsteps and gradually reclaim his own life. At the end of his eighteenth year, when he came to find her with the admission letter they had agreed on, she had disappeared forever. At twenty-two, when he met her again, he held her tightly in his arms, his eyes bloodshot. "Su Xingjie, we promised each other a lifetime. How dare you run away?"
Su Xingjie's perspective:
To prove her father's innocence, she deliberately got close to Luo Jin. The boy was cold and weary of the world. She only planned to finish what she had to do and leave immediately. She never expected to get herself burned, or that she would never be able to shake him off, nor want to anymore. When they met again at twenty-two, he was no longer the lonely, lifeless boy he had been, but Luo, the CEO of the Luo Group, enthroned at the top and surrounded by admirers. She thought he had moved on, but then he held her over the edge of a cliff and said, "Trying to run? Su Xingjie, then let's go to hell and become a pair of ghost lovers who will never be apart."
Song Huai's perspective:
As the highest-ranking justice minister in the country, he stood at the summit, accustomed to miscarriages of justice and the fickleness of human relationships. He had seen through human nature and grown numb to life, until he saw that little girl at the juvenile correctional facility, with clear eyes but not a glimmer of light in them. He pulled her out of the abyss and helped her overturn her father's wrongful conviction. But how did the girl end up falling in love? "Girl, you were the one who misbehaved. Don't blame me for secretly hiding you away when you were eighteen!"
(This is a fictional country. Please do not compare it to real ones.)
