After screenwriter Erban Er was driven to a breakdown by a client, he was reborn in a courtyard house in the 1970s as Hao Si, the fourth child of the Hao family.
Hao Si couldn’t figure out whether she had been reborn or had simply arrived in an alternate timeline, but she was determined to abandon her former life as an honest, unassuming person and live a life without swallowing her grievances.
Thanks to the abilities and traits she brought from her previous life, Hao Si quickly became a “capable one” in this courtyard, a place full of all sorts of people. Armed with sincerity and kindness as her “winning weapons,” she met every challenge as it came. Not only did she solve her own problems, she also helped people from different backgrounds overcome all kinds of difficulties at different stages of life. As Hao Si continued to grow amid the courtyard’s conflicts, she blossomed into a lovely young woman, and youthful romance became her new challenge…
Though set in an alternate world, this story looks back on life from the 1970s onward. As Hao Si grows, the times change, and so do the stories of the people in the courtyard… None of them are wholly good or bad. Each has their own troubles and hardships, yet they all strive so hard to live, even if they are only tiny grains of sand swept along by the tides of their era…
The heroine's name is not my cup of tea.
It is lighthearted and humorous, has a realistic version to relieve anger, and also travels through time and space, dragging those born in the 1970s back to the era of earthquake shacks and urging updates.
