No One Knows This Wilderness

“What made your youth painful, and what made it happy?”

In high school, Shen Jiwang had a crush on a scumbag. From then on, her youth was controlled by his filthy hands, left broken and in ruins.

She never dared tell anyone what that honor student in her year had done to her, all the sickening things he’d put her through.

That is, until Yu Jiangchu stumbled upon her secret and entered the desolate wilderness deep within her heart.

Shen Jiwang would remember that day forever.

A recording unexpectedly played over the school broadcast system. Her cries and pleas for mercy rang out across the entire campus.

Rumors erupted in an instant, and her reputation hung by a thread.

It was Yu Jiangchu who stood on the pitch-dark school path and shouted with unwavering conviction, “Shen Jiwang, run!”

They ran hand in hand across the campus. Shen Jiwang knew that Yu Jiangchu had helped her run, step by step, out of the nightmare of being eighteen.
