Drunk on a World Dyed in Ink

[Both leads return to life + focuses more on this life]

Once, her timidity had led her to her death. At the very end, she seemed to see the person who had long made her heart race rushing toward her in a panic, stumbling as he came. She didn’t know if it was real.

When she opened her eyes again, she discovered she had returned to the time before she was about to enter the palace. In this new life, she swore she would make those who had bullied and humiliated her regret it, and make those who had betrayed her suffer. But things didn’t seem to be as she remembered them from her previous life. That man said he... loved her. Had she gotten drunk? Wasn’t he the one who had sent her to the cold palace in her previous life? She must have been drunk.

To save her, he secretly had people give her a fake death potion and declare her dead. He planned to abdicate and retreat with her to the mountains, where they could enjoy a carefree life among the people. Only after she really left did he understand that if he had loved her the wrong way, then it had been wrong.

If he got another chance, he would love her, protect her, cherish her, and give her his heart alone.
