Synopsis: While working in the city as a construction-materials porter, a man meets a woman burdened with debt. They fall in love, marry, have a daughter, and work together to pay off what she owes. Years later, their daughter falls ill. They do everything they can, but to no avail. This is the story of three generations of one family.
A person lives one lifetime; the world passes through generations. Like the rings of a tree, each layer builds upon the last, until in the end they all return to this soil.
