Great Ming: The Greatest Imperial Tutor

Zhu Daneng is standing beside the crooked-neck tree on Coal Hill when he is struck by lightning and accidentally transmigrates to the late Ming Dynasty. Tragically, he becomes a wandering spirit adrift in the Forbidden City. Using the identity of Hongxi Emperor Zhu Gaochi’s forebear, he stumbles upon the secret identity of the Divine Emperor. The two spar back and forth, helping the naive young emperor Zhu Youjian grow. First they destroy the eunuch faction and weaken the powerful civil officials, then reinstate the meritorious nobles and military generals. They fight on every front, quell internal unrest, defeat the Jurchens and Mongols, and crush the Dutch…

Together, they restore the storm-tossed Great Ming to its former glory and forge an empire on which the sun never sets.
