[Future setting + cybernetic technology + plot-driven + nonhumans + two queens]
Two hundred years after the Ark began operating, it malfunctioned. Humanity was forced to face the harsh environment once more and venture back to the surface.
To their astonishment, they discovered that two other intelligent life forms had appeared on Blue Star, both better adapted to the hostile environment.
From then on, war raged without end, giving rise to three powers that ruled Blue Star.
The first was a hybrid of modern humans and machines, living in technologically advanced mechanical cities.
The second was the “Awakened,” created by modifying Echidna cells. They lived in settlements on the desert frontier, with highly adaptable exoskeletons and powerful bodies.
The third was the Newman people, who possessed “divine genes” and had received the most direct gift from an extraterrestrial civilization.
They lived in immense stone cities in the desert, wielding “empathy” that let them control all things, as well as a spiritual realm where they could share one another’s consciousness.
Three races and three nations lived side by side in a barren wasteland short on resources. More than a century of fragile peace was on the verge of collapse.
The story begins when the queen of the Newman nation sets out to sign a peace treaty with humanity.
But even then, a far greater conspiracy and threat was quietly drawing near…
