A bloody blade, and the story of a newly enthroned emperor turning around and slaughtering all 158 members of the family that helped him rise! (quick transmigration + revenge + no naive, airheaded heroine + tragic romance + sweet devotion + ruling the world + future technology + alternate dimensions)
Every member of the Mu family, young and old alike, died at his hands. When he was still Crown Prince, he had been modest, courteous, and gentle. The Mu family betrothed Mu Wenjin to him. But once he ascended the throne, he turned around and beheaded the entire household of Chancellor Mu, the very family that had helped him rise to power!
He wiped out the Mu household in a single night, leaving only her, Mu Wenjin, alive!
He wanted Mu Wenjin as his consort, at his beck and call!
Fine! She came. Not only did she come, she arrived smiling brightly, with a child in tow. What he wanted was for one old case after another to be reopened! What he wanted was proof that the emperor had branded his entire family of loyal subjects as traitors with a single word! What she wanted was the life of the reigning emperor, An Jinghuai! Your Majesty, with a blood feud like this against the Mu family, surely it cannot go unavenged!!!
He wanted to wield power over the court and build a faction for his own gain! Since His Majesty had condemned the Mu household without a shred of evidence, Mu Wenjin would turn his baseless accusation into fact!
Let the world fall into chaos around her. She would stand at the pinnacle of power and look down on those who had wronged her and condemned the Mu family, a household of loyal subjects!
