I read the first seven chapters, and it was indeed a bit confusing. The characters did not appear clearly, especially the protagonist. The wedge actually affected the protagonist to a great extent. There were too many characters and the scenes were a bit heavy. The protagonist was not highlighted, and even somewhat obscured. The last two wedges are best used as extras. The protagonist's life experience can be slowly revealed in the next dozens of chapters.
