Story background: The story takes place in the future decades after Sun Wukong and four others have traveled through the Three Realms. In order to maintain the balance of the three realms, the elders of the three realms decided to send a new group of young disciples to continue to patrol the Western Heavens to obtain scriptures. The new batch of disciples face new challenges and adventures.
