Who Put the Imperial Robe on Me?!

(Female-led power fantasy + hiding one's strength + scheming in both court and harem + two strong leads + power plays)

She thought she would never get the chance to turn things around, but unexpectedly became the daughter of her enemy. Sent into the palace as the prime minister's daughter, she became empress. He wants her to stabilize the harem and bear him a prince, but she would rather throw the harem into chaos. A child? Absolutely not!

She leaks information on purpose and sabotages things behind the scenes, making the emperor consumed by suspicion as she gathers one clever scheme after another. She purges corrupt officials and cuts off their sources of wealth, leaving the prime minister without his most trusted allies!

The prime minister and emperor clash in a battle of wits and blades. Some think they're the hidden victor, waiting for the mantis to catch the cicada while the oriole lurks behind. Little do they know that I'm the tiger behind them all, quietly pulling the strings and laying my plans step by step.

You think becoming empress is the limit of my ambitions? No. I'll overthrow the emperor and take the throne! Women will be allowed to take the imperial examinations, earn noble titles, serve as ministers, and fulfill their ambitions!

Who would have thought that, when I turned around, someone would be watching me hungrily?

He said, “Her Majesty the Empress is so graceful and radiant. I've waited so long for you. Don't you think you ought to properly reward and make it up to your younger brother-in-law?”
