Two Xiaobalu

The story of "Two Xiaobalu" took place during the Anti-Japanese War. 13-Year-old Xiaobalu Sun Daxing lost his father due to the war. He was determined to avenge his father. Sun Daxing was injured during a transfer, so the army asked him and his friend Wu Jianhua to hide in Liu Ji and assist the revolution as a carpenter's apprentice and Uncle Liu's grandson respectively. While they were recovering from their injuries, they were gathering information. With the help of Daxing and Wu Jianhua, the Japanese stronghold was breached. After Daxing recovered from his injuries, they returned to the team and continued to fight against the enemy. In an important battle, Daxing introduced the enemy into the encirclement of the Eighth Route Army and eventually died. Wu Jianhua took the gun originally given to Sun Daxing by the regiment leader and resolutely went to the front line to continue fighting for the revolutionary cause.
