An Cui transmigrates into a book, becoming the fake heiress in a period novel who is forced to return to the countryside and marry a twice-divorced man.
The original owner was a troublemaker who even cheated on her husband, so she met a tragic end.
That won't do. An Cui promptly turns over a new leaf and settles down to live an honest life.
With one hand, she puts scoundrels in their place; with the other, she makes money, raising a whole brood of children to be plump and rosy-cheeked.
Shen Shifan is a tall, handsome technician in town. After leaving the military, he adopts the four children of a fallen comrade. His previous marriage ended in failure, and he'd long since given up on the idea of finding happiness in marriage.
Who could have guessed that the more he looked at the wife he married on a whim, the more he adored her?
As their marriage grows sweeter by the day, he vows to give his wife a good life.
He puts his technical skills to work and opens a factory, bringing in money hand over fist until An Cui's hands ache from counting it.
When they meet again, the original heroine, who believes she's reached the pinnacle of life, asks, “Is this the rural business owner?”
“No, he's the boss of a multinational corporation.”
A whole crowd of little ones is lined up behind him.
“Daddy, Mommy, give each other another kiss!”
It's okay, warm and homely.
The article is well written, and the love between the male and female protagonists continues to sublimate in every moment of life. The only drawback is that the ending is a bit sloppy. It would be perfect if there was a sequel.
It looks okay. Many people are used to reading long novels, but I like reading short novels like this.
I was so confused that I bought it so quickly.
