Synopsis

In 1868, a publisher invited Louisa May Alcott to write a "book about girls." Based on her own life, Alcott tenderly described the life and growth of the four March sisters. This is the origin of "Little Women." The eldest sister, Meg, is a good wife and mother. After getting married, she takes care of her husband and children, and manages the family well; the second sister, Joe, is cheerful and open-minded, independent and self-respecting, and is keen on writing; the third sister, Beth, is introverted, good at playing the piano, and has high musical attainments, but is frail and sick; the fourth sister, Amy, is a typical lady who pays attention to body posture and likes to try art. They live in a harmonious family with loving parents, filial children, love and help each other, and are self-reliant.

She vividly depicts the life and growth of the four March sisters, which made me feel like I was in that era and experienced all kinds of joys and sorrows with them. Among the four sisters, I like the second sister Qiao the most. She is independent, self-respecting, cheerful, passionate about writing, and has a great sense of justice.
